Shell Knob Quilt-a-Thon

The trip to Shell Knob was great. I left in cold weather gear and returned to 85 degrees. Georgia and I quilted for hours and hours and hours. We spent most of Monday at her quilt guild workshop. The rest of the time we were working in her dining room. Both of us were pleased with what all we accomplished.

We did go out for meals, and for some shopping. The person in the photo below who is neither Georgia nor me is Kent, Georgia's husband. He joined us for meals and tolerated our taking over his house with great good humor.

Georgia and Kent live on Table Rock Lake. This is the view from their dining room. We had some pleasant time on the back porch enjoying the warm air and lovely view of the lake.

I made it home in time to unpack, dredge out the accumulated cat hair, and get to my class at 6PM. Toby and Carmen were quite glad to have me home.
