Birthdays & Lessons

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOBY!
Another birthday, and today it's Toby's. He's 2 years old today. However, he seemed totally unimpressed when I sang to him this morning. He was much more interested in the can I was holding as I sang. I have explained that by now he's supposed to be an adult cat and should quit being so terribly ornery. I see no promise of that. He's still terrorizing Carmen and getting into things he shouldn't.

LESSONS LEARNED?
I was ready to post the photos from the Linda and Cheryl day yesterday and realized that they were unavailable to me. Why? Because the only way I have to get photos from my camera to my computer is to take the memory card out of the camera and put it into the computer. That's because in some past fit of tidying, I tossed the USB cord that would also do that. (Probably the same tidying fit responsible for losing the computer power cord.) SO......when I forget to put the memory card back in the camera, any photos taken are on the camera hard drive and unavailable for uploading.
And that is where the photos are that reflect the lovely day we had yesterday.
This is not the first time this has happened. Last year I lost the photos of Grandma and her cousins. She was NOT happy.
Lesson learned? How to go on line and order a new USB cord. It should be here in a few days and then you will see proof of our lovely outing yesterday.
Lesson previously learned? Label all stray cords. Unfortunately, I didn't learn it soon enough to have saved the USB cord.
