A Grade C Chronicler

As I started to draft this post, I realized that as a chronicler of life, I get only a 'C' grade for last week. We did a lot of gardening -- in and around the repeated thunderstorms. It was miserably hot the 1st day, but then cool and rainy the next two.
In the photo above you can see that we are in process with planting a hydrangea, an azalea, a hydrangea, 5 hostas, a daisy and some lilies. However......I failed to get an "after" photo. I do remember thinking that there would surely be more sun with which to take the photo, but clearly that didn't happen. So.....T. will take "after" photos this weekend and send them to me.

It was good to see the Chicago folks and we we seemed to have a lot of time together. Of course, I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my love of gardening with T. She was an apt and interested pupil. Great gardens are probably ahead for her at some point. In the meantime, she has a good start.

And then, of course, there is Stella! Someplace there is a photo of her and T., but I can't seem to find it now. She is very cute and very lively. Like most babies, she's either asleep or she's moving and/or chewing. In 4 days, she only had 2 accidents in the house. Either she's getting trained or her people are!

It's good to be back to my home routine. Toby has hardly left my side since I returned.
