Inviting Bud and Mary for Christmas turned out to be a stroke of genius. We had an excellent week-end. We ate to much over and over, went to church a couple of times, watched basketball and some football, opened presents, played dominos and chatted. A great good time.
Grandma was very excited about her presents. She had most of them all tidied up before I could get a photo, but I risked irritating her and spread a few of them out.
I got lots of wonderful goodies too, including my requested bevy of Toad Houses.
"And Barbara replaced the casserole from Linda Campbell that I had to throw away because it had a chipped finish. Isn't this a lovely blue item!
I did a close-up of the Toad Houses so that you could appreciate the variety. They are cute, pretty, elegant, classy and absolutely outrageous!
Toby was a bit nervous about one of the Toad Houses. It seemed like it might just eat him up!
But then he decided that if he just ignored it, maybe it would go away.
And now on to the New Year!!
